ADMISSION STANDARDS

 

We seek to admit those candidates who seem best qualified to profit from the opportunities that the school offers and who, in turn, seem most likely to contribute to the life of the school.  Our goal is to gather a culturally diverse community.  Methods of instruction presuppose that students will exercise a degree of self-discipline, showing some poser of appreciation and a will to work.  St. James is not the school for those unable or unwilling to learn to accept these responsibilities.

 

2008 - 2009 TUITION AND FEES 

 

Annual Tuition

PreK: $4900                              K - 5th Grades: $5400                              6th - 8th Grades: $5900

Enrollment and Registration Fees

Admission Interview

Enrollment Fee: $35

Mandatory Annual Giving: $100 per year fee is used to supplement tuition.

Tuition Assistance is available and is based on family need as determined by the school's scholarship committee. 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Applications are available for the next school year.  Students who are currently enrolled will be given priority consideration for readmission.  Siblings of current students who wish to be admitted will be considered before other new applicants. 

 

We seek to admit those students who seem best qualified to undertake the challenges the school offers and who seem most likely to contribute to the life of the school.  Our aim is to assemble a community of boys and girls who will complement each other in an environment characterized by seriousness of purpose, love of learning, and a spirit of creativity.

All applicants and their parents are interviewed before admission.  At the interview, enrollment policies and contractual agreements are reviewed with the parents.
