St. James School is located in the heart of Third Ward and easily accessible to the Houston Medical Center and downtown areas. It has been in existence since 1971. St. James School is an outreach ministry of St. James Episcopal Church.

Here at St. James School, we provide an excellent accelerated academic program within a nuturing Christian environment. We strive for all students to attain their full personal and academic potential while developing their individual strengths. We seek to instill a sense of self-worth and strong Christian values in our students.
